Matthew is from the town of Killarney, Kerry and graduated from Actorsvision School of Acting in 2019. Since joining BOLT Productions, he played the Prosecuting Lawyer in an immersive theatre adaption of Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal in Spike Island Prison (2019). Matthew also played The Priest in a short film adaption of the play (2019). Matthew played lead role of Conor in the short film, Chroma (2019) written and directed by Owen O’Mahony.
Matthew is also starring as Daryl in Bring Me Back Alive (an ongoing, joint production between Shine a Light and Actorsvision) in which he portrays a teenager who has lost his friend to suicide.
He has extensive experience with martial arts, holding a black belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do as well as a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
